Want

To live is to want. And want is curiously thorough. It's often audacious. It’s not always timely or polite. Or reasonable. Or conventional. It's placed on shelves and inside boxes and asked to play nice, quietly. But want is a nagging thing. It begs for the opportunity to be. That's life. Even when it’s complicated - asking for permission to give you its more. It’s not concerned with your ability to handle it or if those desires made manifest just might bury you alive. Want and life are just in the business of asking, “why not this and why not you?”
